Dil dhadakne do is a film about a dysfunctional Punjabi family and about their family matters. It is a totally comedy-drama film. This movie is releasing on 5th June 2015.

The film is first announced as a film based on brother sister relationship between Zoya and Farhan Akhtar. Hirtik Roshan, Karina Kapoor,Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were 1st selected in star cast.Due to some issues star casts  are changed. Ranveer Singh replaces Ranbir kapoor, Priyanka Chopra replaces Karina Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar replaces Hirtik Roshan and Anuska confirmed instead of Katrina. Sri Devi and Madhuri Dixit are 1st considerd  for Neelam Mehras role. But Shephali Shah was selected.
